Workouts For Every Fitness Goal

Finally, a movement practice that grows with YOU and supports your cyclical body.

Cyclical Fitness Is A Practice That Grows With You

In over a decade of teaching movement, I have learned that there are as many unique fitness goals as there are people. We all come to exercise for different reasons—weight loss, confidence, energy, stress relief, strength, etc.—but what keeps us coming back is often the same.

When we find movement that we love, it helps us embody our best selves.

Still, it is our fitness goals that motivate us to show up in the first place. This is why the lunae roadmap of exercise has been informed by hundreds of women just like you sharing what they want from exercise.

Below are the goals that I hear most often from women with links and resources to help you get there! Please note, many of the workouts referenced in this blog are only available in the $5/month lunae membership. There, you’ll get access to hundreds of members-only videos, specialized programs, and a monthly calendar with a specific workout for each day of your cycle.

Check it out for as long as you like and cancel at any time. I have many women that cycle in and out of the membership depending on what is happening in their lives each month. I truly want it to feel easy and accessible.

Start using cyclical movement to support ALL of your fitness goals.

Goal: Consistency

You'll find lots of support within the roadmap for developing a reliable workout rhythm that doesn't feel depleting and supports your energetic flow. When you are working with your physiology, showing up starts to feel a little easier.

→ In a recent blog on reinforcing movement habits and consistency in each phase, I discuss the power of creating easy wins. Sometimes this means starting small with workouts you know you can commit to.

→ I also recommend this series of quick workouts that help you get more work done in less time so you’re less likely to skip your self-care when you have a busy schedule.

Goal: Strength

Strength training is a universal lever that supports just about every health goal imaginable. And it doesn’t have to just be lifting weights. Empower your sense of strength with everything from low-impact practices, yoga, and pilates, to the latest strength training workouts!

→ For a deep dive into strength training for your cycle, check out this blog that highlights the progressive overload principle and apply it in practice with with a full strength training calendar in the YouTube membership!

Goal: Weight Loss

I have my own challenging history with weight loss/excessive exercise and it took a mindset shift toward body composition to finally land me in the body positive place that I always knew was possible. These workouts can certainly support weight loss goals and for more on mindset and specific nutrition strategies, check out the article below!

Goal: Preparing for Conception, Staying Active in Pregnancy, and Recovering Postpartum

It is such an honor to support you all with movement practices as you prepare for pregnancy and ease back into exercise postpartum. It wasn’t that long ago that I was in that same place and I’d love to be an ally as you navigate this new stage. I stayed very active with workouts while trying (it took a LONG time), while pregnant, and soon after giving birth.

→ When you become pregnant, shift to the wide range of workouts in the Prenatal Guide and Prenatal Workout Series.

Goal: Stress Relief

Stress is a sneaky one. It often builds silently beneath the surface and only makes itself known when we have no other choice to slow down. Whether you’re looking for a quick way to promote calm or more soothing practices to rest a tired body and mind, I’ve got you covered.

→ Here is a complete collection of workouts, meditations, and breathwork to help you stress less.

Goal: PMS and Period Pain Relief

My own symptoms of PMS—mood swings, fatigues, and painful periods—were a huge part of what brought me to cyclical self-care in the first place. I share my own path to pain- and PMS-free periods in this article and the movement practices below are designed to help as well.

Goal: Mental Health

Movement alone can be incredibly supportive for mental health. It offers a way to tap into your breath and create a pattern of self-care that feels good. In addition to the workouts, you'll find many meditations to guide you through different breathing techniques and mental exercises to promote calm.

→ Check out cyclical meditations and breathwork to support mental clarity and calm.

Ultimately, your goals will change with you as your priorities shift and life seasons come and go. So why should your workouts have to stay the same? With movement as a lifestyle, you can adapt the intensity, timing, and style to meet your needs with less stress and more JOY.

Let the lunae roadmap help you get there!
